The ENACT network integrates local Informatics for Integrating Biology at the Bedside (i2b2) and Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics (OHDSI) Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP)EHR data repositories through the Shared Health Research Information Network (SHRINE) platform.

Objective: To develop, and evaluate NLP algorithms to identify delirium, dementia, and delirium superimposed on dementia in older adults’ outcomes from theEHR.  Additionally, this project seeks to evaluate the capability of NLP methods to extract risk factors/ phenotyping information from unstructured clinical notes and radiology reports.

Objective: To develop and validate a novel informatics framework to collect and synthesize longitudinal, multimodal EHR data for automatic referral form generation and summarization on headache for primary care settings.  Secondary aims include: 1)Convert text-based guidelines into a standards-based algorithms for electronic implementation 2) develop models to automatically populate data from EHR and clinical notes to fill the referral form 3) create a framework to summarize the longitudinal clinical notes to fill out a referral form, and 4) develop and validate a headache referral system with a user-centered design approach.

    1. Objective: To support the development of a network participant registry for children who have experienced traumatic life events, To support the development of a network participant registry for children who have experienced traumatic life events. Other branching projects from the CTRN include:
    • Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Clinical Outcomes in the Childhood Trauma Research Network. Which objective is to investigate the long-term impact of Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) on clinical symptoms among youth who have been affected by traumatic events. The study aims are:  1).Examine the durability of treatment effects over an extended period. 2) Examine the durability of treatment effects over an extended period. 3) Identify youth, family, and therapist-related factors that moderate or mediate response to TF-CBT.
    • Alcohol Use Disorder and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder After Trauma in Adolescents: Prediction of Disease Vulnerability and Response to Treatment. Objective  are 1) To identify predictive genomic, transcriptomic, epigenomic and inflammatory biomarkers of Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) risk and response to treatment in the aftermath of trauma in adolescents.

The EPINET (Early Psychosis Intervention Network) includes 8 Regional Hubs, over 100 early psychosis clinics across 17 states, and the EPINET National Data Coordinating Center (ENDCC)

Objective: To establish a consortium in Texas for first episode psychosis (FEP), as well as developing and implementing a data management system and informatics tool that integrates reliable and valid person-level measures of clinical features, services, and treatment outcomes for young people with FEP.

Objective: To develop new metrics and mechanisms for the evaluation and communication of COI risks in biomedical research
