The Jha Lab at UT Southwestern advances precision approaches to mood disorders and addiction by identifying the clinical, biological, behavioral and digital markers that shape illness trajectories and treatment response. Through interdisciplinary clinical research and innovative trials, we seek to understand why treatments work for some individuals but not others, and how care can be tailored more effectively.
Our goal is to translate rigorous research into practical, person-centered interventions that improve outcomes, reduce symptom burden, prevent relapse and expand access to evidence-based mental health and addiction care.
