Grace Lu
Grace Lu is a medical student at UT Southwestern Medical Center currently taking a year to pursue translational and clinical research with Drs. Chong and Jacobe. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Rice University and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Her research interests include rheumatologic and other complex skin diseases.
In her free time, Grace loves exploring local restaurants and watching Korean dramas. She also enjoys spending time with her two chihuahuas.
Jay Garza
Jay Garza is a post-doctoral researcher at UT Southwestern Medical Center currently pursuing translational and clinical research with Drs. Chong and Jacobe. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Engineering from Texas A&M and was awarded Magna Cum Laude. His research interests include rheumatologic disease and biomedical device development.
In his free time, Jay loves reading, golf, and video games. He is also a big dog person, and has a massive 25 lb dachshund.
