The Artificial Intelligence and Medical Simulation (AIMS) Lab at UT Southwestern Medical Center develops innovative technologies to advance surgical training, performance assessment, and patient care. Our interdisciplinary research brings together surgery, biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence, computer vision, and medical simulation to develop objective, data-driven approaches to understanding and improving surgical performance.
